FontStruct は、幾何学的な形の部品（ブリック）をタイルのように格子に並べてフォントを作る、無料の Web のツール3。

Alex Clay 氏はゲーム開発者で、FontStruct では2017年5月から、アラビア文字のピクセルフォント「Arabic Pixel 1」「Arabic Pixel 2」（2017年）や「Bitsy Font With Arabic」（2019年）を公開している。いずれも CC04。Newgrounds（Mantis1）と itch.io でもゲームを公開している56。

字は、FontStruct のブリック（1em の 1/9 の正方形）で組んでいて、高さは9ブリック2。

東アラビア数字は、Nimra をもとにしている。Alex Clay 氏は FontStruct のページの説明で、東アラビア数字を Abdullah Arif 氏の Nimra から着想したとしている1。

٥ の下の太い部分や、٤・٧・٨ の太い線の位置は Nimra にならっている。ただし、ドットの格子に置き直した形で、Nimra の輪郭をそのまま写したものではない。

『Maiden of Pain』は、Alex Clay 氏が Unity で制作した、見下ろし型のシューティングゲーム。正式には公開されておらず、Newgrounds のプレビューのページで遊べる。ページの説明は「Aim with your heart, shoot with your soul.」（心で狙い、魂で撃て）、ジャンルは「Action - Shooter - Run ’n Gun」78。弾を込め直すには、バレエのダンサーのように360度回る8。

Maiden of Pain Numbers は、画面の左上の弾数の表示に使われている。設定で言語をアラビア語にすると、弾数が東アラビア数字で表示される8。

ゲームのファイルの日付は2018年3月12日。ゲームのデータに入っているフォントを取り出して FontStruct の版と比べると、20字の輪郭は同じだった8。Nimra の公開は2018年3月11日9。Abdullah Arif 氏は、Nimra のページに「Derived Works」（派生作品）の節を設けて、このフォントを紹介した9。
